I’ve been a bad belocaler these last few weeks but sometimes life gets in the way of blogging.  I’m only checking in now because I’m heading up to Ulster County this weekend and I can hardly contain myself.  Who better to understand that feeling than those of you who read belocal?

My husband surprised me by renting a cottage at Indian Grove in Big Indian, NY. And, I plan to go to Peekamoose, and Sweet Sues and Yvonnes for pie, and the Pakatakan Farmer’s Market and and possibly invite kissmybuttsbbq over to grill for us (a happy find by my friend Scott). And, sit in the grass, and prance in the Esopus Creek and find new stuff to tell you all about.  

We’re going to stop in Red Hook and Rhinbeck on the way home and possibly stop at thisisalisha’s family lunch wagon on the way up.

That’s me up there the first time I was in this area (on the grounds of the Alpine Inn in Oliverea).  I am one happy girl.  

Don’t stop checking in.  I’m revving up to share all about what I discovered while camping in Litchfield County, CT and the nooks and crannies in Brandywine, PA  and what I’m planning for a weekend in Margate Beach, NJ near AC.
