Sixty miles away and one hundred sixty acres translated to a different world from where I had been a mere hour before. Oak Grove Plantation is an entirely family-run farm that grows an enormous variety of fruits, vegetables, plants, and herbs, in addition to onsite milling and hog operations…

Serve Your Country Food is a movement of the Greenhorns - a land based nonprofit serving young farmers across America … and they’re heading our way with a scheduled event this Fall. If you’re a young farmer, wish you were a young farmer or just a farm groupie, you should really check out their website, blog, radio show (based in Hudson Valley), guides and resources.
